Dear Class of 1971,

I just want to let you all know that I am really enjoying reading about you. I am happy that so many are participating and encourage you to encourage others to sign up and let us know how and where they are.

I am sad to see that so many of our classmates have died. They are all so young! I send my sympathies to all of the families and special thoughts to us all for having lost our friends. When we celebrate in July we can do so remembering them.

Again I am happy to be able to be hearing about you all.

Julia

I just received the 66 and 67 CD from Rodney. Let me tell you that he really went out of his way with this CD!

It is excellent! He even decorated the cover with our Nyssa High Bulldog Mascot. Really nice.

Thank you so much Rodney for all your hard work, there were a lot who never did get a year book, now they can.

Thank you for this great website! I really have enjoyed reading everybody's profiles and have relived some wonderful memories of growing up in Nyssa. I am sorry to see so many of our classmates gone but they are not forgotten. Thank you again.

Good afternoon Rod it sounds as though you have been really busy lately. It sounds like you have 66 and 67 on the CD, are you working on 64 and 65 also??
What is the web link to those? What is the charge to get CD's for our class year books for 64, 65, 66 and 67 or is that not an option at this point? I would like to have them on CD's along with the hard copies.
I tried to start scanning some of our class of 67 photo's from our senior year book and it took forever and they did not turn out so good so I quit.
It has been really neat to read all these messages and to hear from old classmates again.
Keep up the good work Rod and you have a great day.
Eldon

Good afternoon Vickie Luna Lara I just got back in here for the first time since I sent you the last message about our year book pictures (computer problems) and now I see that Rodney has been hard at work and put them on CD's for you, that is really neat that he took the time and alot of effort to do that for you. I just asked him about getting a copy of all four of our highschool years put on a CD or CD's.
It is really neat to get back in touch with everyone again.
Thanks and have a great day.
Eldon

I have posted some pictures on my profile for the class of '69, '70 and '72, as my youngest brother Craig graduated then. I think the reunion would be the richest if we could dig into our own history and add pictures that others might not have. Upload those photos! Get help from your kids if you need it! We had to send my additional photos with my daughter to Ohio to have them scanned. But I got it done!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Sallee for your time in making this website available. I LOVE it!

I'm not able to come to the reunion, and it's breaking my heart. Will the site still be up and running and maintained after the reunion? With pictures of the event posted?

Thanks again, and greetings to all, especially '71ers.

I am looking for Steve Parker. He would have graduated with us in 1969 but moved to Redmond, Oregon near the beginning of high school. He parents ran the slaughter house on Alberta Ave for several years. I lost track of him after we got into a bit of trouble our senior year when he visted. Has anyone heard from him?

Thank you so much to all of the people who put so much time into the planning and executing of a very wonderful reunion. I was in attendance on Friday and Saturday and just stopped in on Sunday to leave off some copies of our local newsletter. Sure enjoyed having so many NHS alumni in town. Hope the website continues as this is a wonderful way of keeping in contact and I still haven't taken copies of the wonderful pics that were posted.
Thanks to Trudy and Eldon for some great grade school photos.

I loved going to the reunion and seeing all my "extended family". Thank you to everyone for coming and to all who had a hand in putting this together. I wish I could have had a little more in-depth conversation with all I saw, but it still was great to connect with everyone. It was wonderful to see my sisters, my classmates, upperclassmen and their spouses.

Since the reunion I have had more requests for the 1966 and 1967 Tupelo's and have setup a website where you can download a PDF of each yearbook. If you are interested just send me a message and I'll send you the download link.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

I wish to thank all the folks that made the reunion possible and for those of you that made my brother Kelly and I feel so welcome after so long a time that we had seen most of you. I have some great pictures that I will add when I learn how! I loved the families that we were able to see again--the Wilsons, the Masons, and the McGinleys. Such a treat! I too wish we had had longer. I did happen to return the next weekend and see Adrian alums, as my father and uncle graduated from Adrian high school in the 1940's! It was great. Brian Hirai, I will get those questions to you for your uncle Paul. Thanks for the dam tour, Gary. Love to you all,
Elaine Kurtz Cockrell

Hi All!

I had a wonderful time at the reunion, but I didn't seem to have enough time to visit with everyone. I would have loved to have sat and talked to all for at least a few more hours. To those I missed, it wasn't because I didn't want to visit, but there were so many to visit with. It was so wonderful to see everyone, even for just a minute.

Thanks to all the Reunion Team for putting their time and effort into this wonderful event.

God Bless!!
